Thank You for Everything!

From the bottom of my heart, thank you so very much for your time, energy, money, and support during my Congressional campaign. I am proud of our work and to have had the chance to run. Though I did not win, I met so many wonderful new friends.

I am humbled that so many of you gave so much on my behalf.

I offer a hearty congratulations to Senator Wilson on her victory. From the results, it is clear her record of service stood out with voters and they rewarded her for it.

I also congratulate all of my other opponents for running strong, clean campaigns. It was a pleasure to spend so much time with each of them on the campaign trail.

The United States of America is such a wonderful country. I believe so strongly in the ideals our democracy represents. I am blessed and privileged to have had an opportunity to directly participate.

Please Volunteer Tomorrow!

August 24 - Election Day

Polls are open tomorrow, Tuesday, August 24th, from 7:00 am - 7:00 pm.

If you can volunteer at one of the polling locations, please let me know! The campaign will set you up with everything you need. Just email me with the hours you're available.

And if YOUR polling location is in the district, we'll let you work there!

Thanks for all the help and support you've given so far. Election Day is almost here!

No Victory Party...I'll Be Working!

Many have asked me where the Galvin Campaign will be celebrating on Tuesday night. But because duty calls, we won't be holding a "Victory Party."

The North Miami City Council meets tomorrow night at 7:00 pm. Thus, once polls close, I'll be headed to City Hall for the remainder of the evening.

The business of North Miami moves forward!

Never before in Florida's history has an openly gay official represented us at the State or Federal level.

Right now, you can help me change that.

This has already been an historic campaign. As one of the first openly-gay candidates on the ballot in Florida, I've been honored to have the support of folks like Rep. Jared Polis and Mayor Ken Keechl. I've been endorsed by Victory Fund, Human Rights Campaign, and many other GLBT groups.

I've even endured hateful anti-gay vandalism.
